Our story
“Just a casual day swiping on the dating apps with a pool of matches, never did I know in a year’s time, I will be blissfully married to the love of my life – an important someone whom I met from Hinge. It all started with a surprise visit to a bar she works at, where I was totally unaware that I was competing with a rival sitting across me at the very same bar counter. Being gullible and friendly by nature, I invited the both of them for a supper together – and of course, with a hope that the guy would politely reject my offer. I guess being welcoming and chill at the start kind of melted her heart, and the chase started with little visits after work to her bar just to spend more time with her in the evening and night, getting her dinner to make sure she is well fed, and making sure she is safely home after. Fast forward 2 years, these are all sweet memories that ignited the flames in our hearts.”
The Proposal
“We flew to Taipei on a couple trip, where she was totally unaware that I have invited her best friends along for the trip too. With our great supper excuses, I have been secretly meeting up with her besties to properly plan the proposal months before the actual day. Before the proposal, they were up at the building behind the proposal photo, where they hid flowers, props, and of course, took really great shots of me confessing to the love of my life.”
